Description Offered for sale is this 1981 Jeep CJ7 in excellent condition. Driven only 2186 miles since the “frame off” restoration, there was no expense spared during the process. Once the frame was sandblasted and painted with 415 Epoxy, a 4″ rubicon express lift kit (with new frame to body mounts ) was installed along with new shocks and a polyurethane bushing kit. From there a new fiberglass body with steel reinforcementswas installed and the the entire Jeep was rewired with a Painless wiring harness.New fuel and brake systems were installed, including all new pumps,cylinders, hardware, lines, hoses, pads, shoes, etc. Mechanically, a remanufactured 360 motor was installed…bored 30 over with a Performer cam, MSD ignition, Edelbrock 600 cfm carburator, radiator, hoses, headers and astainless dual exhaust. A rebuilt 4 speed T176/177 transmission and rebuilt transfer case came next, followed by a Rebuilt Dana 44 Widetrack Rear differentialand a Rebuilt Dana 35 Widetrack Front differential. Both driveshafts were professionally cut and balanced. After a fresh set 32 x 11.5 Super Swamper tires (with spare), the Jeep was ready to run. Finished off with new gauges,a stainless steel dash, a custom “Revolver shifter”, reclining front seats, a black soft top, soft upper/lower doors, a black hard top, and finally a fresh paint job ( finished in August)…..The project was complete.
