RZA to appear in 'GI Joe' sequel

Channing Tatum is reportedly the only actor returning to G.I. Joe for the sequel, and he will consequently be surrounded by an entirely new cast.

Among his new co-stars are Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, the professional wrestler who began his acting career in The Scorpion King , Elodie Yung, who plays Miriam Wu in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo , D.J. Cotrona, and rapper-turned-actor RZA.

Cotrona will be playing the role of Flint, a G.I. Joe Warrant Officer who was added to the comic books and action-figure lines in the '80s.

As for RZA, he will be playing a martial arts expert called the Blind Master, who once trained Snake-Eyes and Jinx.

Other films RZA has appeared in include American Gangster , Due Date , and Kill Bill . He also recently wrapped up The Man with the Iron Fists , a film he directed in which he co-stars alongside Russell Crowe.
