Man Accused in Shooting Only Returned to DC Last Week

One week. That's how long it took Terry Allen Jimenez, arrested and charged with second-degree murder for allegedly shooting and killing an innocent man last Saturday, to get back into trouble in D.C. after he left town for safety reasons.

According to the Washington Post and police and court documents, Jimenez left D.C. for Buffalo earlier this year after he was the target of a drive-by shooting that killed 18-year-old Cardozo High School student Lucki Pannell in February. He returned last Monday -- but it didn't take long for him to fall back into what MPD Chief Cathy Lanier dubbed as the "reckless violence" of gang life: Jimenez, reportedly a member of the Hobart Stars gang, fired a pistol from behing a vehicle at people he believed were members of the rival Clifton Terrace University gang. Gunfire was returned, striking four people in total -- Jimenez himself, two other people who are expected to survive, and Robert Foster, Jr., who later died.

The Post reports that the District -- who had been keeping tabs on Jimenez, was tipped off that he had returned to the city, but was unable to locate him until the incident over the weekend.

Jimenez's preliminary hearing on the murder charge has been scheduled for July 18.

I love how the District's tough gun laws do nothing to stop criminals from getting weapons, but prevent law-abiding citizens from protecting themselves. A gang member isn't going to care if he commits one felony (carrying a concealed handgun illegally) while committing other felonies. It just makes law abiding citizens easy targets on the metro late at night. The real battle will be fought online. The Hobart Stars have an awesome MySpace page, complete with high-res pictures of its members. Keep a copy handy in case you need to walk through their territory any time soon.

As lame as CTU's internet presence is, who's still on MySpace?  Point: CTU. Self defense, of course. Perfectly legal under DC's "street law" system, in which gang members are only arrested for actually killing someone. 

It saves a lot of paperwork, freeing cops up for escort and parking-ticket-writing services. Since any other kind of arrest will just result in dismissal under the "Mendelsohn Supremacy" anyway, minor felonies have been decriminalized in certain parts of the city.

@LucifersArms666 and the switch from the E suffex to E playing the E suffex with your middle, ring and pinky finger is much easier (same with A to Am) when u first are learning a song or writing one figure out the chords but then pick them a part and figure out ways to play it with out having to reposition your hand every chord walk down. Guitar is only complecated if you make it that way.

Hes got it right but he’s missing the second note in the intro. your still playing D. thats correct but (im not dure of the name of the note) i play the D with my middle, ring and pinky finger because the second note u u go open on the high E (ring finger) then use your ring finger to go to the next note. after the first note of the walk down you use your pointer finger while your middle and pinky are still in the same place. then u go to the C chord and pay attention to marty.
